Archiving Policy
The International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Smart Systems (IJAISS) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published articles. We have implemented an archiving policy that allows all articles to be securely stored and easily accessible to the global research community, both now and in the future.
Digital Archiving
- IJAISS articles are archived and made available through several well-established repositories and digital archives, ensuring that they remain accessible to researchers worldwide.
- All published content in IJAISS is archived in LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS), which are trusted digital preservation systems used by many academic publishers. These platforms guarantee long-term storage and prevent the loss of articles due to server or technical issues.
Open Access Repositories
- Articles published in IJAISS are deposited in a number of open access repositories, which ensures that the research is freely available for access by readers, researchers, and institutions worldwide.
- IJAISS also encourages authors to upload their published articles to institutional repositories and other relevant research networks, ensuring the widest possible distribution and visibility of their work.
Self-Archiving Policy
- Authors are permitted to deposit their IJAISS-published articles in their own institutional or subject-based repositories, as well as personal websites, provided they comply with the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) under which the articles are published.
- Authors are encouraged to link back to the official IJAISS website when archiving their work to ensure proper citation and give credit to the original publication.
Preservation of Metadata
- The IJAISS journal ensures that the metadata for each article, including citation information, abstracts, keywords, and author details, is preserved and made available to support the discoverability and proper indexing of research.
Third-Party Archiving
- In addition to LOCKSS and CLOCKSS, IJAISS works with several external digital archiving services such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, and others to ensure that all published articles are widely disseminated and remain accessible for the long term.
Commitment to Long-Term Availability
- IJAISS is committed to ensuring that all content remains accessible without charge for as long as possible. We regularly review and update our archiving procedures to adapt to new technologies and ensure the long-term availability of all published content.
